Troy Baker revealed as Arkham Knight Voice and why it's Suspicious

After watching the Batman: Arkham Knight Ace Chemicals Trailer Part 1, the Arkham Knight's voice has been clearly revealed to be done by Troy Baker. The only problem with Baker being the voice of the Arkham Knight is how suspicious it is to have someone like him who was already reprising his role as Two Face from Arkham City to voice another major character in the fourth Arkham game and why. To understand why it's an issue, please read the information below.

After 2 months since the leaked Gamescon footage to Batman Arkham Knight was leaked, the Arkham Knight was rumored to be voiced by James Horan, the actor who voiced Jack Ryder in the previous Arkham games, but now that the most recent trailer to the game had been released on Monday November 24th, the Arkham Knight's voice is now clarified to be Troy Baker's. Whatever reason Rocksteady or the game's casting director has for having Troy Baker voice Arkham Knight when he is already reprising his role as Two Face, it can't be good.


Other than how lame it is for one person to have more than one major role in a certain game or show, the only reason why Troy Baker's voice as the Arkham Knight is a bad sign is because it brings about the suspicion that Rocksteady might end up spoiling/ruining all the fun in the game by making the villain's true end up being the one that the previous Arkham games have been so heavily focused on since the first one in 2009;


The Joker

Yeah surely it was okay for Joker to be the main villain in Batman Arkham Asylum, but since Arkham City of how his rivalry with Batman ends after having him poisoned throughout most of the game and because of the plot twist that Eric Holmes and Montreal did that made Joker the game's real main antagonist all just by making him impersonate Black Mask and be the one that hired the assassins all because of the fact that the Joker is Batman's archenemy that Holmes and his Montreal workers felt that it wouldn't be enough for the clown prince of crime to start off as one of the eight assassins hired by Black Mask or as a lower rank criminal currently rising further to greater power that because they had to make Batman's first encounter with Joker heavily dramatic by making him steal the show from Black Mask by impersonating him and doing what the game's synopsis said that Black Mask was to be doing in the game, the Arkham Franchise is becoming more Joker heavy that if the people in charge of Rocksteady game development are purposely lying to us about Scarecrow being the main antagonist in Arkham Knight by making Joker come back from the dead by revealing to have impersonated Scarecrow, then that would definately cause a huge proplem for fans, but surely since Scarecrow is one of Batman's most popular enemies and that he did survive his encounter with Killer Croc in Arkham Asylum and had been absent in Arkham City planning his revenge against Batman and that with Joker dead and that Scarecrow is teaming Harley Quinn up with him and two of the clown's arkham city gang leader rivals Penguin and Two Face, there is no f-ing way that Rocksteady would dare rip us off with the same villain more than once or twice and Joker's death in Arkham City is what marks Arkham Knight the beginning of the end in the Arkham Universe, so with Scarecrow as the main villain, there maybe something really interesting in the comics regarding the Scarecrow that Rocksteady is willing to bring out into the game.


Now for the Arkham Knight, because of the fact that the character's voice has been revealed to be Troy Baker when the actor himself has been confirmed to reprise his role as Two Face from Batman Arkham City and because he voiced the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, it's precisely what brings about the suspicion that Rocksteady may end up ripping us off with the Joker as Montreal did by having him impersonate one of the villains in the games, which would definately cause a real problem for most potential fans and may result to lynching.

Hopefully because Joker's dead, that Scarecrow had been absent from Arkham City planning his ultimate scheme for Arkham Knight uniting Harley, Penguin, and Two Face together with him as a team and that the Arkham Knight is said to be as original as characters in the games like Dr. Young and many more who did not originate from the comics, and that the bosses of Rocksteady promise that the Joker will not come back from the dead to rob the spotlight again and that he will only appear in flashbacks of the past Arkham games and as one of Scarecrow's nightmares, Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight should be okay as the main villains of this new game for sure.

And if the Arkham Knight under the mask is someone made from scratch meaning that he maybe someone connected to Dr. Young, Quincy Sharp, Hugo Strange, or Amadeus Arkham, then there maybe a good and fair enough reason to why Troy Baker has been cast the voice of the Arkham Knight.

But in the mean time be sure to be on your guard on what surprises the next wave of trailers to Batman Arkham Knight may have in store for us and be sure to stay alert once you all get the game and start playing through the missions as well.

How Batman: Arkham Knight will become the Ultimate Video Game in 2015 and Beyond

Batman Arkham Knight is set to be in stores on June 2nd 2015 which is definately a month after the premier of Avengers Age of Ultron and because the people in charge of making the game are aiming at keeping it solid, meaning perfect and if Batman: Arkham Knight is to be the ultimate video game of all time starting next year, these are what the game needs to prove itself the ultimate game for everyone to enjoy;


Batman Arkham Knight should have the same profile setting as the previous games where a player is able to select where he/she left off, start a new game, or delete the profile so that the player can start over and savor the fun


Batman should be able to walk/run anywhere on the streets of gotham, fighting bad guys with combat fighting techniques from the previous games, capable of using most of the best gadgets, along with the takedowns used during predator mode as well as using the Batmobile

There should be at least 10 to 15 villains for Batman to fight against in this game


Scarecrow, as the main antagonist is to be the real Johnathan Crane that survived his encounter with Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham Asylum as he is back teaming up with three of the Arkham City gang leaders Penguin, Harley Quinn, and Two Face along with the mysterious new villain The Arkham Knight including many more villains that are yet to be confirmed to return

The Arkham Knight, a new villain depicted as Batman's evil militarized counterpart is confirmed by Rocksteady to be an original character, meaning that just like Aaron Cash, Dr. Penelope Young and others who did not appear in the comics that the Arkham Knight will be someone original and not anyone like Joker, Ra's al Ghul, Hush, or anyone from the past games and comics and the villain himself has an army helping him carry out his objectives.


The Joker will return only in flashbacks of the previous Arkham games as well as one of Scarecrow's nightmare illusions. Because the game is set to function without Joker's chaotic presence, the clown prince of crime will not be coming back from the dead.

Batman should be able to enter most buildings in the game especially the tall ones.

There should be at least 400 riddler trophies to find and 160 riddles to solve

The game should have a total of 40 voice actors or more

More to Scarecrow's Plot in Batman: Arkham Knight

While we are still waiting for Batman: Arkham Knight to come out into stores, let's discuss more on what the Scarecrow is planning for the Dark Knight.



Scarecrow aka Johnathan Crane, formerly respected doctor turned rogue scientist over his troubled childhood days of being bullied, has officially returned after his disappearance in Batman: Arkham Asylum which was before his absence in Arkham City, has returned teaming up with three of Arkham City's gang leaders (Penguin, Harley Quinn, and Two Face) along with the mysterious new villain, the Arkham Knight in their desperate attempts to kill the Batman once and for all.





Surely some of you think it's Joker impersonating him just because of how the Arkham Games have heavily focus on him since Arkham Asylum, the fact that he is Batman's arch and greatest enemy, having died so many times and survived, and because of the plot twist in Arkham Origins that made him the games true main antagonist all just by revealing him to have impersonated Black Mask while a crazy psycho like himself hires 8 of the assassins but surely he's not afterall Batman Arkham Knight is the final chapter and the death of the Joker (Batman's greatest enemy) just marks as the beginning of the end and since Joker is gone, Scarecrow now rises in the clowns position as Batman's primary foe with the plans along with the Arkham Knight and since the creators of the Arkham Knight game are sure that it's the real Johnathan Crane Scarecrow that Batman will be dealing with and not the Joker since the master criminal of fear is bringing all of Batman's greatest foes together to kill Batman once and for all and that Joker does not cooperate with other as well as the Scarecrow in this game being voiced by John Noble , then it is safe to assume that Batman Arkham Knight will be a much more satisfying and relieving game than Arkham Origins. Plus the Scarecrow's face has been disfigured since his encounter should be physical proof that Joker is definately not imprersonating him like Black Mask so everything should be good for this game along with how much more of his body has been crippled since his encounter with Killer Croc.



Anyway, with Scarecrow in charge of the super villain band against Batman, he is sure to have plans for him since he's been away during the events in Batman: Arkham City. As everyone has seen the footage that was leaked from Gamecon, Scarecrow ordered the Arkham Knight not to kill Batman just yet that he wants him to suffer first which shows that Scarecrow wouldn't come up with such a big all out war scheme he's been planning for a year a two just to kill Batman but that he must be after something that interests him, something valuable to his cause, Something that he would use to destroy Batman once and for all that may actually be the source of Gotham's high crime waves and corruption which could also be what the Riddler discovered in Arkham Origins and was going to wait to release it after Batman foiled his plans to end Gotham's corruption. This object maybe part of of a different heroes world in the DC Universe but it can be used here in the Arkhamverse since Talia in Arkham City mentioned Superman's city Metropolis indicating that the Justice League maybe in the franchise.

This item that Scarecrow is intending to get his hands on that definately involves fear is:

The Yellow Lantern Ring



Yes in the comics, Scarecrow got his hands on a yellow lantern ring and joined the yellow lantern corps. So just imagine that if Scarecrow got his hands on this yellow lantern power ring, he would definately be a much more powerful threat to Batman and would definately act as the final boss of this game after Batman defeats and unmasks the Arkham Knight as well as defeating the three arkham city gang leaders first. And with its power he would unleash even greater fear on the world than he does with his fear toxins.



Surely it may not look like this would happen in the final installment but it's worth a shot that it may and if so there maybe a chance that the DC content to Arkham Knight may involve Batman teaming up with the Justice League against this sinister villain;

Parallax




Yet another doubtful choice for the Arkhamverse but still a good one since fear is what made Gotham City to be polluted with so many criminals and so many corrupt cops and people before Batman came into action, such massive crime activity and corruption that created the Joker and many other supervillains that making a possible Arkham version of Parallax the source of Gotham City's corruption could relate the version to the evil entity from Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated.

And surely since Scarecrow was shown to have his face disfigured and his legs broken, Arkham Knight would also be the perfect time to have Scarecrow use the yellow lantern ring for the first time in the onscreen media too.

Why the Joker must NOT Return Alive in Batman Arkham Knight

While Batman: Arkham Knight is now just 7 month's away from being put on the shelves of every store across the globe, more irritating rumors of the Joker's return in the game keep surfacing on the web when they are not officially confirmed. It's like some people out there are too obsessed with the Joker that they can't seem to get enough of the character or that they are just screwing around just to upset fans as the twist from Arkham Origins did. To find out why the Joker shouldn't return alive in Arkham Knight, please read this article for some specific information:

1. Besides Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Joker has been getting so much of the spotlight since Arkham City

2. Because of the plot twist in Arkham Origins, it made Joker steal the spotlight from Black Mask as the main villain just by having to have impersonated the crime lord the whole time on the game's main story plot that just makes more of the video game franchise all about him


3. Even though Joker is a great villain as well as Batman's arch enemy, the fact that he keeps on taking the spotlight as in being the one responsible for every plot that Batman must thwart through out most of the games is like the people who make these games are too obsessed with the clown that they just don't get that we all had enough of him.


4. One Arkham Game without the Joker involved would help make things in the Arkham Games much less irritating and because Joker is dead after having his last attempts for a cure to his titan disease was provoked by Batman and because of how the twist in Arkham Origins of him commiting the main plot of the game while pretending to be Black Mask, there is no way Batman Arkham Knight is gonna bring him back alive having him impersonate Scarecrow or be the Arkham Knight's true identity, otherwise it's gonna make the some fans lash out at the people in charge for not giving it a rest with the Joker already and not to mention that the Arkhamverse will be more refered to as the Jokerverse since the games heavily revolve around the character.

5. If the Joker is to show up in Arkham Knight, he is best to work secretly with Scarecrow, Arkham Knight along with Harley Quinn and two of his Arkham City gang rivals secretly without being seen with the gang until later or just appear as one of Scarecrow's nightmare illusions and not physically return alive at all so that it won't be so f-ing irritating at all.

6. One very good reason why Rocksteady would certainly not bring Joker back to life despite the rumors of the studio spilling the beans other than because of the clown being the reason Arkham City along with other catastrophic events happening in the Arkhamverse is because of the point of view speech Batman had made as his final words to Joker "You want to know something funny? Even after everything you've done, I would have saved you." So clearly that is one other sign of proof that Joker will not return in Arkham Knight and would only be mentioned and seen throughout Scarecrow's nightmare illusions.

7. One good reason Rocksteady would not make Joker come back to life impersonating Scarecrow like he did pretending to be Blackmask is because Scarecrow is also capable of being just as unpredictable as Joker and since he has been capable of inflicting Batman with his worst fear, reliving the events of his parent's death, he will return as the real Johnathan Crane who survived Killer Croc at Arkham Asylum and proof that Joker is not going to be impersonating Scarecrow throughout the game other than Joker not wanting to team up with his rivals and with Scarecrow having Harley, Penguin, and Two Face work together with him and the Arkham Knight against Batman is the difference with their right eyes.


When Joker died, both his eyes were evenly alligned as Scarecrows eyes were not evened up which shows that he had been disfigured since his encounter with Killer Croc.

8. And for why Joker cannot be the identity of the Arkham Knight is that with the Arkham Knight being highly skilled in matial arts techniques as Batman and for how he was said to be an exclusively original character, Joker's chances of spoiling everything are 25%

9. And because Batman: Arkham Knight is the final chapter of the Arkhamverse, Joker's death marks it only the beginning of the end so if he was brought back to life, then Arkham Knight wouldn't be the end of the Arkham games at all

Spoiler; Possible Lead on who the Arkham Knight might be

While the Arkham Knight and his identity continue to remain a mystery, rumors and speculations have it that he maybe connected to one of the other characters that were done from scratch in the Arkhamverse. Someone that's completely original like him, someone that did not originate from the comics. Someone whose dramatic death has made the Arkham Knight become a great threat to Batman. Someone like, Dr. Penelope Young.

Yup. Dr. Penelope Young was one of the psychiotrists that appeared in Batman Arkham Asylum. She is also the one who helped create the titan formula which turns anyone injected with the serum into monsters. Originally she had it planned to help cure the patients of their insanity but when Joker brought it up to her during her interview with him, she realized that she was being tricked into creating a serum that would give him a super powerful army of monsters that would help him destroy Gotham and so she backed out of the deal which leads Joker into escaping Arkham and planning his take over on the asylum.

Surely because of how Joker likes killing people so much it's obvious that he wanted her to know. Clearly Penelope doesn't get why Joker wouldn't listen until Batman saved her from Zsasz and explains to her that "Joker doesn't take no for an answer!" When Young tries to get the codes from the Warden's safe, she noticed that Joker got to it first as she saw a green smile smeared onto the terminal that she knew right away that it was a bomb and ends up getting killed in the explosion at close range. Despite what she had done wrong, her death was the most dramatic and saddest one of all in Batman Arkham Asylum. But before her death and just as Batman got into her office before scanning for her fingerprints, her computer had shown a wallpaper of her with someone else during the day of her graduation

This man shown in this picture with Dr. Young on her computer could her father, her brother, her boyfriend or just a dear friend of hers and if I am right, this man that Penelope was with could in fact be the Arkham Knight. After all the manager of the studios having the Arkham games developed says that the Arkham Knight is completely original, meaning that just like Dr Young and if the Arkham Knight is this man in the blue shirt that Young was with during her graduation, then her death could be the very reason why the Arkham Knight wants to kill Batman, because of the fact that he loved Doctor Young so much and because Batman wouldn't kill Joker for not giving up his murderous threats upon Gotham City that he just kept letting more people get killed over his intentions on wanting to make a difference, then it's obvious that the Arkham Knight teamed up with Scarecrow and the other villains of Gotham on terrorizing the city together just to make Batman regret doing what he does.

Possible Lead on the Arkham Knight's Voice so far

After Watching the recently leaked Batman Arkham Knight Footage, we get to see more of the Arkham Knight and for what he sounds like.

After blowing up the bridge to the Ace Chemicals facility where Joker was created, the Arkham Knight is first heard arguing with Scarecrow about his grudge against Batman that the master of fear wouldn't understand, then he shows up with some of his thugs confronting Batman and talks to him saying that he knows his every move before he makes it and says to him that he fully intends to kill him but first is going to make him suffer.

Based on how the Arkham Knight's voice sounded, there is one person we know that would have the same tone of voice like that and he is one of the voices we have heard in the previous arkham games since Arkham Asylum.

It is none other than, 

James Horan

yup, that's right, James Horan was the voice of Jack Ryder and numerous henchmen in the previous 3 Arkham games and is known for voicing Wheeljack in Transformers: Prime, Smaug in the Hobbit 2003 video game, and much more.

Some of you think it's just a rumor you heard from IMDB, but if anyone of you saw the video containing the leaked gameplay footage at gamecon and listened closely on the Arkham Knight's conversations with Scarecrow and Batman, you would know for sure where I'm getting at

But to find out for sure, stay tuned for more updates on the ultimate potential game Batman: Arkham Knight which is set for release on June 2nd, 2015. Which is a month after the Avengers Age of Ultron movie release in theaters on May 1st.

Problems with Batman Arkham Knight's Release Date being June 2nd 2015

Just when problems can't get any worse, they just keep on getting worse as off today the people in charge of Rocksteady and Batman Arkham Games again act like the bearers of bad news by announcing the release date to be 9 months later from today and there has been no specific explaination who or why the people in charge of the game won't just make the release date of the game sooner!

A lot of fans are even more eager and desparate to want this and now the people of Rocksteady and those in charge of having the Arkham Games developed had to make things much worse by pushing the new games release date to a much later time in 2015 than sooner around the first quarter of the year like deadbeats who are slacking off!!

Who is in charge of the games developement and MORE SPECIFICALLY, why must the game's release be longer than sooner?
