Since the beginning of the Arkham games, about half a quarter of Batman's villains along with the Joker appeared in Batman: Arkham Asylum and then more of his popular enemies like Penguin, Two Face, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, and Hugo Strange appeared in Arkham City, and then with more like Deathstroke and a few least popular favorites like Electricutioner. And there are sure to be even more villains debuting in Batman Arkham Knight along with the Arkham Knight himself as well. Some of them are easy to take out, some of them that take a minute or two to take down without showing a health bar known as sub bosses are easy to take down and many of them that are fought with health bars indicating how much damage they have taken are called bosses. For the upcoming Batman Arkham Knight game, one of the villains that we want Batman to take on in boss battle is none other than, Killer Croc.
Killer Croc, along with Joker, Bane, and Harley Quinn has been seen in the Arkham games since Batman Arkham Asylum and from that game he was a villain that Batman evades and defeats using explosive gel to send him falling through the floor.
Then he appears in Arkham City in a cameo where Batman is able to meet him after defeating Ra's Al Ghul and before fighting Mr. Freeze.
Even though Batman battles Croc in Arkham Origins, that was only before Croc became more deformed in Arkham Asylum
Now since Scarecrow returns as the main villain in Arkham Knight after Batman's encounter with in in Arkham Asylum, we need Killer Croc to appear as a boss villain for Batman Arkham Knight because he's responsble for Scarecrow's disappearance, he's the only one to confirm if he is still alive or not so that Joker does not come back to ruin the final installment like he did in Arkham Origins
