How Gotham is more of a prequel to the Arkhamverse than the Mainstream of Batman

As Gotham continues with more episodes on the way, there are somethings that many of you know before the release of Batman Arkham Knight on why the television series Gotham which takes place before Bruce Wayne becomes Batman taking place directly on the year his parents were killed is more of a prequel to the Arkhamverse (Arkham Game series) and hardly the official mainstream of the DC Universe.

1. Edward Nigma being a part of the GCPD Cyber Crimes Division as he was mentioned by Alfred in Batman Arkham Origins before becoming the mysterious vigilante known as Enigma before becoming the villain Riddler

2. Det. Sarah Essen being an african american instead of usual plain american and older than Jim Gordon

3. Corrupt Cops

4.Selina Kyle and Ivy Pepper (Pamela Isley) being close friends 

and so far that is pretty much all there is to it for now
